The guy signed up to fight RDA right after beating Aldo instead of resting on his laurels. You people are lucky to see Conor fight at all on such short notice. People are stupid. Diaz is a filler (an entertaining one at that) until RDA gets better. Why would Conor fight someone like Khabib or Ferguson on 10 days notice with no belt on the line? RDA is still the big fight or if not RDA, Robbie. Its all about the belts.

No one is pretending that Conor doesn't pick his fights, we all know that.

He was just about to fight someone he picked, the Champion at the next weight class up (RDA), for chrissakes.

Then the word was he would probably choose the next heavier Champ after that (Robbie).

Trying to make the case that Conor picks easy opponents at this point is just sad, and reeks of simple haterade.

There was a whole thread yesterday about how Conor is "protected".
Scheduling Aldo & RDA within 3 months is some protection lol

The toughest challenge at 155lbs was RDA, who Conor signed to fight. When that fight went up in smoke, he got arguably the easiest booking out of the pool of available replacements (Khabib, Ferguson, Alvarez)

If Conor had his way he'd being fight RDA for the belt, but plan B is a fun holding fight at welterweight since thats not available through no fault of his own.
