Underrated fight right here in my opinion. I think it has the potential to be barnburner and one of the best fights on the card. Who do you guys see taking it? I'll take Marquardt via KO/TKO in the 2nd or 3rd after a solid, solid fight that sees a little bit of everything.

Very much agree. Nate's a hot/cold fighter but I think hot Nate will show up and a KO is on the menu.

Where you at Georges? Where you at motherfucker?!
Tavares can bring a hell of a fight when he is forced to, but yeah, Marquadt probably finishes him.

Going with Nate by via submission he has a very slick ground game.

I'm in the minority that thinks Tavares wins. The guy is sharp and was absolutely tooling Boetsch before getting sloppy. I think he goes into this fight laser focused having lost his last two and takes home a clear cut decision. Marquardt doesn't have much left in him if you ask me.

Was pretty hard to choose who wins in this fight. I went with Marquardt but you never know what you'll see. Tavares is pretty solid and may win a decision by being busier and throwing leg kicks, but I think Nate has it.

It's easy to forget I had Tavares pegged as a legit up-and-comer at 185 a year ago. 2014 was rough on poor Brad. I'm still baffled how Boetsch managed to KO him with that goofy ass counter.
As far as this fight goes, if Nate shows up in his old form at 185 he should win this via UD. If he's lost a step or two in his old age Tavares takes the decision, as per every win he's ever recorded in the octagon outside of Baroni.

This fight will be a very good litmus test as to where Nate's at at this stage in his career.

I was high on Tavares a few years ago but he hasn't really progressed imo. Marquardt can compete with anyone when he is on.

I'm going with Nate. On his day he can still be a beast.
