Nate is about as real as it gets

If you don't remember the interview of Nick Diaz in his countdown or whatever they used to call it in his buildup for Condit, the series thing like Embedded, then you're a casual.

Real ones remember Nick vividly saying to the reporters "I don't know what you guys wants from me. Just tell me what you want and I'll do it and put on an act"

Ok everybody from Stockton acts like a gangster and talks like a stoned retard and can't refrain from constantly saying thang and calling themself a G late into their 30s despite them finding a profession in their teens LOL! You absolute idiot. I don't give a fuck if he was around gangs, everybody from his area was, he's been a pro athlete since 16 and he wasn't involved lol. He's been immersed in rock culture and triathlons and jiu jitsu a hell of a lot than he was in gang culture you tool.
You know who else is from that culture and calls themselves G's? Jay Z, Diddy, Dre, 50, TI, etc. Are you more professional or successful as them? Are the people you are describing? Seems like you just like to stereotype. "Oh he smokes weed and pretends he's gangstaaa." That's your stereotype of a gangster and it just shows how dumb you are.

On/off camera so you know them both personally? Why didn't you say? Are you good friends with them yeah?

You're a joke.
Ever hear other people calling Nick and Nate fake besides you and some other people on Sherdog? Or do other fighters say they are as real as it gets? Other fighters understand that about Diaz bros, so that's very telling compared to some assumptions that come from Sherdoggers. There is a reason why other fighters respect the Diaz bros even though people on Sherdog want to hate.

@FIghtxIQ
I didn't miss it, every single one of them went unscathed because they didn't fight lol. The only footage I seen of Nate was him running behind a bar wtf are you talking about? Nick the real G threw a drink at one of them.
And it's easier to fight when you're in your own country with your posse of other fake gangsters everywhere you go. His little crew has to be the most embarrassing in MMA, they all even adopted Nates mannerisms do you remember that guy Chris Avila lol. He wants to be Nate so bad he even stood there and let Lobov leg kick him for 15 minutes.
Nate threw a punch at Khabib and that's why they went after Nate outside in the hotel/casino floor. They weren't worried about not being from this country when they were fighting. Just like they weren't worried when they jumped Conor. All I wanted to point out is that Diaz bros did fight them when they saw them, same as with Khabib and his people. Nate was moving around the crowd because they were trying to jump him. He was trying to not get surrounded and cheap shotted. It's not going to look like a cage fight when fighting happens in the real world with multiple people fighting.

Who has jumped Mcgregor wtf are you talking about. Idgaf what fighters say Nate exaggerates his act 'cos it sells and it's cool it's that simple. Nate didn't punch Khabib.

I feel sorry for all the yanks that have to read this, it's no surprise you all hate eachother. I'd hate my country and cheer for the Europeans too after reading some of your posts, you're pathetic. You little fanboy fantasizing about Nate Diaz's realness and gangsterness lmao. Go and storm the capitol or loot, whatever side you're on they need you. In these times "real americans" wouldn't be posting BS on sherdog you have bigger things to worry about.

None of them are gangsters, they're all celebrities playing a role, just like Nate Diaz which proves my point. And some of them actually were involved in gangs, Nate wasn't. 50 cent was shot, Nate wasn't. You're a clown, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Nate was more or less a full time athlete at 15 you moron he's not fucking 50 cent lmao.

Drake is another fake gangster to appease an audience when it suits him. He's just a childhood actor from Canada but from some of his songs you'd think he was an LA gangster. Like I said, an act.

I think you guys all have the wrong definition and it definitely shows your level of understanding by your upbringing. He's not trying to be "gangster" that's just the way he is from growing up around that. People that grow up in the same environment can easily see that. Others on the outside have some false definition of gangster and have no idea what they are talking about.

You are bringing up 2pac taking a class in middle school? Like drama class makes him suddenly soft? He wanted to do movies and he did that. Very easy to tell there was nothing fake about 2pac. You can't fake what he went through and how he handled what he went through.
Your misinterpreting my post . I basically agree with you I'm saying people think that someone like the Diaz Bros aren't being their authentic true selves cause they have this caricature that someone hard who had a rough upbringing and talks and acts hood has to be a gun weilding psycho with a criminal record and that's not the case there mostly regular ass people if you meet them on a human level.

What a shitshow this thread turned out to be
Can' imagine if the hardcore nate fans were here <36>

Who said that?!?!?

However, he's not as real as it gets. We can all agree he's a fake gangster; the guys an upstanding citizen who does triathlons and teaches BJJ but throws gang signs with no criminal record, I couldn't have put it better than Mcgregor.

.

yeah but he smokes weed and gives people the middle finger. Hes definitely a gangster

Nate can’t form a sentence

All you bums think he’s great because he beat Conrad. That doesn’t show nates greatness, it shows just how bad Conrad is
Lol Conor is probably very upset some sherbro with 1/10000000000th of the success and money he has says dumb shit to try and taint his legacy.

Sorry I was replying to everything fast and was mistaking replies with other posters. Yeah people have these stereotypes because it's a culture they don't understand. It's the same with any other subculture in America. The ones that grew up in that subculture understand it and don't see anything weird about it, but the ones that didn't will have stereotypes about the subculture. I brought up Cowboys because it's a subculture that people understand if they grew up around it, but for others it will seem foreign just like how hip-hop/street culture is with other people. They all have a different way of dressing, talking, and values. Cowboys are stereotyped as gun toting people too, but to that culture it isn't weird for them to be pro 2a or stand your ground type people. Hip-hop/street culture is very similar in that regard, their image and slangs are just different. It mostly depends on what state/city they grew up in and around what type of sub-culture.

I agree that it's not some glorious occasion, like with UFC it's somehow twister to be this family hugs and kisses event. And when you fall on your face unconscious it's not that big of a deal, as these things happen in the UFC. "Not everyone can win", some little league pep talk. It's not that fun 10 years later when you're Spencer Fisher or Goodridge.

Nate and Nick are super talented fighters but they act insecure af all the time. They are just not strong enough to compete with most of the top guys (in their weight classes) and that rubs them the wrong way.

I'm not disputing the fact people can pick up mannerisms and slang from those around them. But if you don't believe a guy in his mid 30s who has been a full time athlete since 15 isn't intentionally exaggerating it for the camera and twitter you're wrong. There's a reason he keeps his twitter posts as short and cold as he can while going through to make sure he has spelt every word wrong and that it comes across as gangster lol.

What's more pathetic in the world of MMA than fighters actively dissing on social media but always hides when the actual fight offer comes?

The diaz bros are one of the most realest people in whole of MMA one of the reasons i am a big fan.

They are a rare breed that has died a century ago they are legit western cowboys type. They have the same mentality and talk the same way. He would probably have been a gunslinger in the wild west somewhere.

They don't even view this as sport but real life and warfare they are just real

im from cali . In stockton all it takes to be "gangster" is smoke weed and get in street fights lol . i get what your saying but he dosnt mean letteral crack selling gang banger when he says "gangster" . and west coast hand signs arent "gang signs" in the conventional sence . 2pac went to drama class and was middle class btw lol

2pac wasnt middle class. Lol. When he got famous? Yes. When he was growing up? No. Ballet? Yes.
