I like this rematch because I think Nate will win fairly easily.

With a full camp and a full build up a victory by Nate should remove any doubt about a fluke win by him.

Plus he's put in a lot of time in the Octagon and a big payday for him is something I think he's earned.

Now, I understand people may be pissed because they expected a bigger fight in UFC involving other fighters but if you are a fan of Nate, I dont see why this rematch would piss you off.

Cloner fans forget that was 1 week Nate who kick Mcgregor ass.

They also forget that Mcgregor should defend his FW belt intead of salty remach.

Even if Nate loses it's a win.
1) $$$
2) He has already beat him
3) Conor is helping to push Nate's star

If Conor loses it is disasterous for his career, legacy and aura. Fans can chalk one up to fluke, but twice in a row... everyone will think Nate is the better fighter if they don't already. And really Nate isn't even in P4P discussion so where would that leave Conor

I love the idea of a rematch between the two, just not 4 months after they just fought with nothing inbetween. Somewhere down the line a rematch at 155 is something I would love to see, it's where they both belong. However, if the rumors prove to be true, as the Main Event for UFC 200, it's underwhelming to say the least.

Its great for Nate. It's the biggest payday out there for him and he'll win again.

Lol can you imagine if he fought Conor @ 200? He will have gone from making 40 grand fighting in 2015 to making probably at least 5 million in 2016.

this rematch is awesome for nate, hes gonna make a lot of money (which i think he deserves after being on 20/20 even tho he had so many good fights)

it's also gonna be an exciting fight, after that first round I don't think anyone expected nate to win so it's definitely gonna be competitive

first fight was great, rematch is fine with me. people seem to automatically hate rematches without thinking it through. good matchups are good matchups. this was nate's "rocky" moment and he gets to do it again.

I agree, I like nate and I like the rematch for him. Although I'd like to see nate vs Lawler for the belt even more:)

I don't care for either fighter, but while it would be good for Nate to win, it objectively doesn't make sense.

not that yuge a fan of nate but i am glad they're gonna give conor another loss. mcgregor isnt gonna learn decades of bjj and boxing or grow some inches in height but nate WILL be in much better condition and will have a full camp to prepare with

hard not to see conor walking himself into a slaughter

I don't like the rematch because there's too many matches for each of them that mutually progress their careers further.

I do like that Nate is going to get paid. The guy worked his whole career for the kind of opportunity that he got at 196 and he stepped up and earned every penny. I am happy for that guys success, and I completely agree with you about the training camp. I don't see how Nate having a full training camp is going to make this fight any better for Conor.

It just seems like a big FU from Conor to his fans and the 145 division. Apparently him getting to try again is more important than the entire 145 division.

As long as they pay Nate as much or more than what he got paid last time, I'm cool wit it.

it makes sense for Nate because he'll get paid big bucks for sure and its the easiest big money fight he can make...let's face it RDA is still a tough match for him and wouldnt have been as big..it doesn't really make much sense for Conor unless he really has bought into himself that much and think he can win because it looks to me like hes gonna get 2 losses ina row, also he looks bad in never having defended his belt once...

for edgar this sucks because he has done everything he could to get that title shot but they keep passing him over... this is why benson left because he said things like title shots were not in his control and he was at the whim of the UFC... this really diminishes the titles...but then again whatever, its entertainment and we get the chance of watching nate with a camp this time probably kick conor's ass again

Nate showed up to fight he deserves a rematch, hes gonna bank another million.
