Nate's been fighting in the UFC for a decade, is a big draw, a top 5 LW, and only got 20k to show for his last fight against Michael Johnson who they said was on his way to the top.

Come Conor McGregor, UFC's biggest cash cow ever. Every fight he has would bring in money like mad. You had all of Ireland backing him and fans everywhere. Even guys who hated him would watch.

Nate crushes Conor, tones down the trash talk and thus the sales, Conor will draw, but not like he did. He'll talk, but not like he used to. UFC now on suicide watch after Northcutt, PVZ, Ronda, and now Conor all got crushed. Only hope left for a star is Jones, that people seem to like despite his insincerity and all his poor decisions. Although some don't care, I don't think he can draw the casual crowd like McGregor or Ronda did.

Ronda still has 1 or 2 fights where she can draw money. If UFC is smart, they will give her a fight against Tate right away, hope she wins that, and then Holm. Or give her Holm right away and have her fall in rank some more.

Really happy Nate got this done. I know UFC can't pay every fighter big bucks or what they "should" earn, but COME ON! Nate deserved at least 50k to show. Him and his brother have a massive following compared to any other 20k to show guy. Underpaying him is just karma biting UFC in the ass.

Every fight is a risk of winning and losing. UFC's push to hype selective fighters will never stop, when one goes down, another will emerge as the next greatest fighter of all time.
