Justin would get picked apart. You guys are such prisoners of the moment. If T-Rex Eddie and Michael Johnson can find Gaethje’s chin, then Nate’s long ass arms certainly would. It’d look a lot like the Cowboy fight. People were literally saying the same shit about Cowboy’s leg kicks, before their fight. Nate inside of three. Be an awesome fight, tho.

Nate Diaz in MMA and CM Punk in WWE seem to be the obsession and fantasy of many weird ppl.
This matchup is horrible for him and uninteresting due to that. If there is a great fight for Nate it would be against Masvidal as they are both mainly boxers with good cardio, chin and genuinely tough guys

They had a gentleman agreement to box and not wrestle. Cowboy doesn't have Justin's leg kicks but he still dropped Nate often with them

Gaethje would probably win on just low kicks.

You don't have to KO nate to beat him, if you can't walk you lose by TKO and Nate has bad defense against low kicks and Gaethje is the best low kicker at LW.

Nate has bad defense against low kicks, Gaethje is one of if not the best low kicker in the UFC and Nate's offense is more about volume than single big shots. IMO Gaethje would tear up Nate's legs fast and early and Nate wouldn't be able to land his volume like normal and wouldn't be able to move well after the first minute or two.

Watch what RDA did to Nates legs and then imagine Gaethje doing it.

Nate has a better chance in beating Barboza than Gaethje but in my opinion he loses to both

Nate doesn't deserve a top fight right now, but I would still support this fight because of my love of leg kick TKOs.

It drives me insane to see threads made about him matching up with X fighter.

There are no shortage of matchups for him… HE"S NOT FIGHTING ANYONE. Let alone Justin Gaethjie.

Yeah, like I said, people said the same shit, when Nate faced Cowboy. Justin has been finished in two of his last four fights, his wins are against the second tier. He’s a technical brawler, with limited defense. Leg kicks mean little, when it’s at the sacrifice of head movement and defense. Dude almost got dusted by Michael Johnson and Luis Pena, he’s a fun fighter, but he’d get picked apart.

Cowboy isn't known for damaging practically everyone he fights quickly with low kicks and he doesn't have the same kind of one punch KO power that Gaethje has either.

Low kicks mean a lot if you can damage your opponnet with only a couple to the point that they can't move the same.

Nate has very bad defense against kicks, Gaethje is the best low kicker at LW and messed up Barboza's legs in less than 2 minutes which set up the KO. I don't see Nate getting many punches in before his legs are fucked and once that happens he has very little chance of winning.

Dude which fights has Justin won, in the UFC, were leg kicks were the deciding factor? He’s beat Vick and Barboza, got schooled by Eddie and Dustin, and he was landing leg kicks in both of those fights. Walking forward with your chin up, kicking legs is exactly how this guy got KTFO two out of his last four fights. He’d be easy money. Nate’s a lot bigger, with better boxing, and a better chin.

His last fight, Barboza's legs got fucked up early and he couldn't move as well which lead to the KO shot against the cage.

Conor McGregor was able to beat Nate in the rematch by exploiting his weakness to low kicks and Conor's low kicks suck compared to Gaethje's. Nate doesn't have the punching power to trade punches for low kicks. Alvarez and Dustin have one punch KO power, Nate doesn't, he's a volume striker.

What in any of Nate's fights says he can beat Gaethje? Gaethje will just leg kick Nate into a wheelchair and Nate doesn't have enough pop in his punches to hurt Gaethje.
