Wow...Highway robbery . No wonder he wants out of that garbage ass contract.
Should've won. Or at least made weight.
$16,000.....he was waaaaay overpaid for that performance!!!
Rumor is he got a huge front payment for his last contract. That's why the individual fights are not well paid, he got all the money up front.
He came in injured where 9 outta 10 fighters would've pulled out.
he can buy Nicks old Honda and have enough left for a nice vegan meal
If true, him and his manager are scumbags
20k if he woulda made weight.
Edit: Im a pleb, Wrong diaz
sounds like bad planning to me
That actually does bother me. Now I don't pay for ufc events so I'm limited in the outrage I can reasonably express. But nate diaz, though he didnt have a good performance in that particular fight, is a one of the few really exciting fighters still out there.
$16,000 seems real low.
Because 16k to lose is pocket change.
it is, alot of loser's on that card with no draw in comparison made the same or more
Pretty much this.
If he doesn't give a shit about winning, I don't give a shit about his paycheck.
Yup that's what was stated. He got it up front then tried to renogotiate afterward. The shit don't make sense at all.
that will happen when you dont even get close to making your weight. then get fined for walking out of media interviews and shit. then get your ass whooped in one of the most one sided beatings of the year.
Then why'd he sign it?
If this is true, Nate is an even bigger idiot and hypocrite than he has shown.
His manager is the shittiest, most annoying manager I ever seen
He should have pulled out. Being injured is no excuse for your performance
