Conor standup clearly was better look at the state of him after 2 round.

If Conor was more economical he could have finished him. Conor was sloppy hands down and he lost.

dat reach. Seriously, that was the difference maker and Conor admitted it in the presser.

So much like Anderson Silva. Fought super cocky, on his chin, got caught and crumbled. It's really inexcusable to be fighting on your chin at this level, esp at 2 weight classes up against a fighter notoriously hard to finish. It was like a pro vs amateur out there until he got caught, no excuse for that, esp with massive skill gap.

he tryed to KO nate, never try to ko a diaz brother.

you will gas damn near everytime

The punch the cut nate open was one of the ones where the glove slides off your face and leave a nice scratch/cut. But Conor was doing very well, though you could see when Nate would pump his jab it landed almost every time
Conor was landing but he was going for a big KO. Nate was setting up for a stronger 1-2 to keep him at bay and stun him to capitalize, and just by that alone Nate was the better standup fighter.
He fought more intelligently, he didnt "catch" Conor, he hit him with a strait punch to the face that gave Conor wiggle legs

Nate has a better everything, except power

But you know Precision beats power bla bla bla..

Better standup? Strike count was pretty even and Nate buckled Conor. Nate was going to KTFO of Conor which was why he went to the ground.

Conor is used to hitting guys with a big shot that stuns them....

He is also not used to getting stunned...

Weight classes exist for a reason.

"Who cares about weight? They all, they sign and they pull. It's happened time and time again in my weight class. I don't care about weight. It makes no difference to me. Wherever it's at, give me an opponent, and a date, and that's it."

Nate cuts so easy... scar tissue. Nate Diaz rolled off a yacht in Cabo 10 days ago and finished this dude.

Stop saying weight classes exist for a reason. This had nothing to do with weight. They are both true 155lb fighters.

Conor fought the same way he always does but was facing a bad style matchup vs a high volume boxer with extremely long reach.

Typically Conor is used to being able to throw his big punches from a range where his opponent can't hit back and then countering them when they try and close the distance on him. Against Diaz his iffy defence was really explosed as Nate had the reach and the ability to counter him.

As far as hurting the Diaz brothers its certainly possible, Nate has been finished before and Nick has been dropped multiple times plus RDA beat nate recently looking to hunt him down even if he didn't finish.

Diaz was outboxing Cononr before the sub; he was on his way to dominating the stand up and probrably winning a dec.

The "massive skill gap"........hold that. Diaz is better than Conor. He came in on two weeks notice and out boxed him and choked him out. Like he said he had a slow start because he had no camp, as soon as he got in to his groove you could see him start to take the fight away. Stop making lame excuses, he got beat handedly by a better fighter.

I don't think Nate's a better fighter dude; Conor slept the consensus p4p best fighter in the world, while Diaz was beaten handily by RDA, although to be fair that was one of Nate's worst performances and he was extremely unlucky when he got hurt by the leg kicks very early in that fight which definitely stopped his offense from ever really starting. I think they're about on the same level, but Conor has a much more varied striking offense and better power, and I'd put McGregor's skill slightly above Nate. But like Diaz himself said, Conor's training was subpar, and he thought he could just do a crash course in bulking up over a short period of time to fight a guy who's much bigger without accounting for the loss of cardio and instead playing touchbutt in the park.

I mean, to be fair, Conor would've needed that raw strength to fend off RDA's rushing attack, and he could have definitely caught RDA with a big punch when he closed the distance, but that kind of raw strength is rendered useless when your opponent is changed to somebody like Nate who's more than happy to box from the outside and absorb punches like they're nothing. Those powerful punches would be much better served on a guy who's rushing in and would get hit by the full force, not somebody who's rolling with them on the outside.

Nate beat Conor without a camp. His fans should all be quiet. These claims make you look like a fool when looking at the facts.

Wtf? First off Diaz out struck Conor, and he has a better ground game. Overall Diaz is the better Martial Artist, stop making these lame excuses. Also for the millionth time mma math doesn't work, so stop comparing fights like the Aldo one.

Bull Nate was getting tagged a lot in that first round, he had know answer. The problem Conor had he threw so many shots he gassed. Look at Nates face after the first round? Is this a fighter outboxing Conor? Conor came out for the second and he kept hes hand down asking to be hit. Conor ego lost him the fight. If he stood off Nate and fought smart he would have won.

People forget Conor has never fought at 170 till last night, he learn from this. Lesser mean would have lost last night, that granite chin of Nates kept hes hopes alive. Nate has fought at 170, a few times.

Idiot, not going to waste my time arguing with a nuthugger. Conor got beat by the better fighter, period. A two week notice Nate Diaz also, so hold your excuses because you sound like a moron.

cardio was the difference and that counts a shitload

Nate looked battered Conor face was fine. He got beat i never said he did not. Conor convincing 1th round win is enough to say he could have done a lot better if he fought smarter.
