Thought it was interesting he said Conor should go slap that pro boxer who done some sparring with Conor then ran his mouth in interviews,

Pretty shitty of the guy to talk Conor down what happens in training should stay there.

He should give him one of these?

Van heerden was respectful of Conor. The worst thing he said was that with 16 oz gloves he didn't feel Conor's punches. Everything else was an objective analysis of their sparring session and how he thinks the fight would go.

Van Heerden was very respectful and honest. I think he may have held back a bit.

Van Bratwurst/McLuckyCharmes...make it happen!

Fuck conor and fuck his snake sparring partners.

Nate is right, that's some disrespectful shit. How you gonna go spar someone then talk shit about his hands?

You see the people Nate spars with putting him on blast for his lack of skills in an area?

Do you see Joe Schilling talking about how shitty Nate's kicks are compared to pro kickboxers? Fuck outta here...

If you actually see the interview, Conor showed up at his gym without his knowledge and they sparred. It's not like the guy came to Conor's camp to help him out and then talked shit. Not to mention the guy was respectful of Conor and didn't really say anything bad anyway.

Chris Van Heerden

Never heard of the guy and after looking as his Wiki page, I know why.....He only fought 4 fights in US and only 1 of his US opponents has a wiki page.....Primarily fought in South Africa

I know nothing about the guy either but he was interviewed and pretty much said Conor isnt anything special in boxing. That's something you shouldnt say about a training partner. Watch Andre Ward's interviews about the Diaz bros. Andre is a respectful training partner.

I understand he was just being honest, which I respect, but I think he should've just answered these questions without telling the world that Conor isn't a good boxer.

Well I agree he should have kept his mouth shut. He wasn't disrespectful tho. He just stated the obvious, Conor is a MMA fighter with good hands and a background in amateur boxing, he's just not in the same league as a pro boxer who spend years mastering their craft.

I got the feeling he didn't particularly cared for Conor tho. Could be his personality tho.

If Nate said this I respect the fuck out of him, everyone who trains knows what happens in the gym stays in the gym. No need to put others down or come off smug. No need to say he didn't impress him could take all his shots and that he only has a left hand.

That's shit that should stay in the gym and get worked on. Not outed in interviews after. That is bitch shit. Especially because there's millions of dollars on the line for your sparring partner.

Ward I know and yes I have seen the interview.

He said on twitter that he had "sparred with TOP boxers and Conor's game is right up there" - He appeared on the video to be more scoffing at MMA fighters against boxers than Conor in particular. He was like, "I'm a boxer, no way I'm admitting an MMA fighter hurt me with 16 ounce gloves and headgear"

I see what you're saying but Ward trains with the Diaz bros often and they are friends. Conor just went to this guy's gym and sparred.
