I recently watched the first two seasons of the original narcos with my wife but we kind of fizzled out after an episode or two of season 3. It’s a good show but simultaneously kind of boring, especially all the stuff between Pablo and “Tata” who apparently is a very fictionalized version of his actual wife who wasn’t even named that. It’s also kind of hard to give a shit about season 3 with Pablo out of the picture.

The 1st two seasons were fantastic. Up there with the Pablo seasons, and well above the Cali one. Not sure if this will be able to reach those heights without Diego Luna who absolutely owned his role. Don Neto and Acosta were also amazing characters no longer there. And yeah Teresa Ruiz is an 11/10 and probably won't be back either. Still excited though.

That's how I took it as well sadly. Honestly I hope not. Even the weaker season of Narcos is damn good TV. They still have plenty of material.
