There isn’t a single person on this list that has a winning streak. The girl challenging has 2 wins in a row. Throw Roxanne in next?

Shevchenko owns the division. Someone has gotta move up or down, the talent at 125 is laughably bad...

I thought she beat Nunes in that 2nd fight too

Yeah, it's very thin. At some point someone will emerge but atm it's barren.

There's JoJo Calderwood. And Andrea Lee only lost to her by split decision.

They could look to other divisions. Give Valentina another shot at Amanda Nunes, since the other fights were so close, and BW is also thin. Or give Zhang the shot to be champ champ if she beats Joanna.

Zhang has an entire division she ducked. I'm betting she wants the Val fight now before the accumulated weight cuts to 115 start a serious decline in her the way they did for JJ. Tough shit.

That said Dana would probably do it and Zhang will catch it hard on the chin from Val and get blanketed even worse than Joanna did.

Only way Val loses that fight is if she slips and smacks her chin on the stairs walking into the cage.

But yeah lets watch two female beefcakes try to counter hook and side control each other for 25 minutes.

"Girl-rilla" and "The Happy Warrior" should be added to the terrible nickname hall of fame

It’s hard to get a win streak going in the most stacked division.

I'd be more interested in seeing how many of that list Valentina could beat back-to-back in a single night.

I could seriously see her getting through most of them lol.

Don't care for rankings or endless final contender fights, when you've got a standout champ like Val just have her fight every three months or so on fight night cards, a kind of Joe Louis style "bum of the month" club if you like.

If Calvillo beats big sister I'd give her a titke shot. Then you could have local hero type fights, Calderwood in Scotland, McCann in Liverpool, even Grasso in Mexico. You wouldn't expect these girls to win but they'd have a go, especially having seen what happened to Carmouche.

That's the only fun fight left in the division. Two good strikers. But Valentina can dominate with her grappling if she wants.

Your right but like you said what is left? Valentina wont be beat for a long time if she doesnt move up and even then Amanda gave her problems but both times close fight.

Its too bad we have 2 great WMMA fighters in 2 Divisions that are so shallow.

Alexa Grasso just said she would move up to 125. I think she could easily get to the title, especially the way she beat up Karolina.

    ?

Calderwood is #3 in official rankings. She is on the short list of potential next opponents.

As to the OP, the only fight at 125 people care to see: Shevchenko vs Ilima-Lei.
