These two guys on the street. Neither had a home. So they had to fight for territory. One was new to the game so he still had some muscle mass. The old veteran was wasted away from years on the cold streets of Montreal, but he was crafty.
At first, the whole affair was tame but then my friend’s son threw a vial of crack on the floor at their feet. Then shit got deadly. Neither contestant had a jab that could really touch the other, nor the balance to use one effectively. But the ol’ “mushing of the face” was in full effect.
They rolled and sprawled awkwardly in the snow and the slush, alternating between flurries of desperate activity and periods of calm, even stillness. In the end, they accidentally crushed the vial and my friend’s daughter stomped further on it and ground it into the dirt so they both stopped fighting.
She learned a valuable lesson that day. Her father thought she should face the music, and she did. She swore never to destroy anyone’s crack again. And they let him take her away unharmed, if a little shaken by the ordeal.
Kids just don’t understand crack enough. Everyone’s moved onto opioids. But crack is the real OG shit.
