This is not to take anything away from A.V., he’s champ for a reason but Ortega came back from near death and almost finished the fight several times.

Don’t understand how someone cannot be truly inspired by seeing that

Any fight from pride when Akira Soji, Matsui, or SakuGOAT was out matched by some roided to the tits Brazilian.

Seriously, Matsui lasted longer against Wand than pretty much all his other opponents. He has a win over Pele ffs and gave prime Newton all he could take.

I'm not inspired by watching poor defense.

Jones / Gus showed better heart.
Nate came back in the 5th against Leon.

Shogun literally had his skull broken against Hendo and kept fighting in what turned out to be one of the greatest fights we have ever seen, if not THE greatest. One of the absolute biggest displays of heart ever.

The Damage is a fucking Zombie. Dude comes back from death almost every other fight and grinds mofoz down. He is cut from another cloth.

Merab vs Moraes on the prelims today.

    And he finished his opponent.

I don't think it was really his choice.

His corner kept him in that fight.

    Tough bastard though.

Elkins vs Bektic (and, unlike Ortega, he actually won), both fighters in Shogun vs Hendo 1.

Hell, even Merab tonight came back from the dead to finish Marlon.

Minotauro Nogueria was in as much trouble as Ortega was tonight against Tim Sylvia in a championship fight and actually came back to win

Oh come. This is Ortega’s MO. Get the shit beat out of you for nearly 3 full rounds, and then pull a Hail Mary out of your ass. But, tonight it didn’t work, and he got bludgeoned at the end of the third. Props but, I had Alex by decision in my picks.

I’m talking post usada non-pride fights

I always had Frankie as biggest heart but Ortega definitely matched him tonight
