Honestly, that as a pretty good armbar. Especially coming from not training with the gi. It's a totally different game when people have 1,000 different places to hold on. Good job man
thanks, and you're not kidding. got swept all over the place in the finals and couldnt do a thing with the guy on top cuz he just held on to my pants. frustrating
The blue gi is a perfect example of why x-guard, DLR and the rest of the fancy shit should be kept away from white belts until they know how to use closed guard. BTW nice armbar.
