    one of the matches from my featherweight gi competition.
    ive trained no gi for about 2 years, but have only rolled in a gi once before

    im wearing the black gi

    Honestly, that as a pretty good armbar. Especially coming from not training with the gi. It's a totally different game when people have 1,000 different places to hold on.

    thanks, and you're not kidding. got swept all over the place in the finals and couldnt do a thing with the guy on top cuz he just held on to my pants. frustrating

    The blue gi is a perfect example of why x-guard, DLR and the rest of the fancy shit should be kept away from white belts until they know how to use closed guard.

    BTW nice armbar.
