n00b rashguard question

I'm new to grappling competition and I'm doing a tournament in 2 weeks. I was wondering if the rash guard you wear are the same rash guards you wear to surf? Thanks.

I did use the search before posting this. I searched "rash guard" and really didn't see any topic title that related and I looked through the 5 pages that popped up. If you expect me to read through every thread post that the search engine pops up you have to be crazy. It was a simple yes/no question, can anyone else help.
