Same drill as always. Post bets, discuss bets/matchups, nerd it up, etc.

Update in Green. It looks like our second thread got completed deleted - not just wastelanded. I'll try to find out why. Anyhow, I bet $152.50 and walked away with $172.50 for a profit of $20 (13%). It was another rollercoaster night. Started out with Cariaso losing ITD which hurt. By the time Lauzon fought, I had secured profit. It would have been much better if JDS won.

    Singles
    Phillippou: $17.50 to win $14.55 $32.05
Michael Johnson: $15 to win $7.14 Loss
    Belcher/Okami goes 3: $12.50 to win $8.62 $21.12
    Garcia/Holloway goes 3: $12.50 to win $7.35 $19.85
Cariaso: $12.50 to win $17.75 Loss
    Moraga/Cariaso goes 3: $10 to win $5.71 Loss
    Varner: $10 to win $11.50 $21.50
    Wineland: $10 to win $12 $22
    Okami: $7.50 to win $6.52 $14.02
Lauzon: $5 to win $9 Loss
    Brunson/Leben goes 3: $5 to win $7.50 $12.50
Bloodworth (action play): $2.50 to win $8.38 Loss

    $120 to win $116.02 $143.04

    Parlays
    Froch + Price + GSP/Condit Starts 2 + Okami: $15 to win $14.46 $29.46
Obama + JDS: $10 to win $13.15 Loss
Khan + JDS + Okami: $5 to win $11.29 Loss

    $30 to win $38.90 $19.46

Late Add (In Old Thread) of De Fries/Duffee goes distance: $2.50 to win $12 Loss

    TOTAL OF $152.50 TO WIN $166.92 $172.50

TOTALS FOR 2012: Initial Risk was $275, Running Total is $1030.18 Running Profit = $755.18 (Approximate ROI for year: 15.6%)
TOTALS FOR 2011: Initial Risk was $44, Running Total $1271.39 Running Profit = $1227.39 (Approximate ROI for year: 27%)
TOTALS FOR 2010: Initial Risk was $29, Running Total $225.92 Running Profit = $196.92 (Approximate ROI for year: 13%)
    GRAND TOTAL FOR 2010 THROUGH 2012: $29 into $2205.80 Total Profit = $2176.80 (Approximate ROI: 20.5%)

Condit/Macdonald at even money. Had Condit the first time, gonna play him again. I actually think Condit have improved more than Rory even though that won't be a popular opinion(mostly due to Rory being very young).

I agree, I think Condit has worked a lot on his grappling for the GSP fight
Best odds I have seen in a while, probably since the Trinaldo tuf fight

I see Condit at +120 and I love that line but the fight is in march. I don't want to get my money locked for that long.

I'm on Rory. The ability to control where the fight takes place will be the deciding factor. I think it will be a clear, but close, decision for Rory. I'm thinking the fight will look like rounds 1 and 2.

Quick question for those on 5 Dimes in the USA, for your first withdrawal did you do Western Union or Money Gram? Not sure how either work really. WU you go pick it up somewhere and MG mails it to your house?

To contribute, I'm going to probably bet $100 on JDS and maybe JDS/Cain don't go the distance (depending on the line).

I never bet so some of this is gibberish to me, but what does Obama + jds mean? I get what parlays and all that other stuff is, and why on earth did you bet on Vemola? The guy is going to get smashed imo.

Haha, on alot of betting sites you could bet on who would win the election.

Jk Obama won his last UFC fight.

Anyone know how betting limits work? I wanted to put down around $300-500 on Gonzaga @-140, but I could only bet up to $140.

The message said I was limited until the 'limit is reset or the line changes'.

Ok, I understand the line change, but when is the line reset? I always thought there was only a betting limit for dogs.

I usually don't run into this because I usually bet lower amounts at high volumes in parlays.

Edit : Okay, lined moved to -145, still worth it to me. Curse you guys who got him at plus odds!

i'm thinking of going to the event. looking like a good card, already have my hotel booked.

will definitely be playing rory at even or -160.

you have to factor in GSP in this. he just finish 5 rounds with condit and knows what works, what doesn't. u have to know that GSP will train rory, give him secrets to condits tells and movments and timing.

Line changed several times, so I kinda circumvented the problem, I guess.
I bet $455 total on Gonzaga at -140, -145, and -170 to win $300. Still great odds imo. Wouldn't be surprised if he got to -250.

But for people that bet, let's say $500 on singles on a -200 fighter, with the line staying the same the whole time, basically need several bookies to bet that amount?
Still not sure when they 'reset the limit' unless it's when the betting line changes.

Michael Johnson is the biggest lock on this card imo. He will probably be around -350, but I still think that is a solid bet.
