It does suck that only the top contenders and champs make a good amount and the lower ranked guys don't make shit but part of me is glad that they aren't overpaid like ppl in team sports. The problem with fighters getting paid more is that they will be involved in less fights due to being financially comfortable and would pull out of fights more if they even get a paper cut.
