I hope you all noticed Dana squirm in his pants and give an elaborate excuse when they opened up questions to the fans, and 1 guy asked if pulling conor, media obligations, retirement, was all a ploy to save McG's image and momentum. It was hilarious. Anytime someone emphasizes that what they are saying is the truth, and uses lots of hand gestures, and takes the scenic route to answering an easy question...LOL, dead fucking giveaway they are full of shit. It was priceless. Dana/UFC has underestimated the growing intelligence of the average (excluding shertards) fan, and he was caught completely off guard. Loved it. Cheers.

Nothing over-analyzed here. Nothing at all.

You'd think I was a Dana guy, but I'm not. They simply made a great move which actually made for a better UFC 200 at the end of the day. So I doubt there was too much to squirm about when you ditch a belt-less/contender-less rematch with Diaz/McG that countless people (outside of Sherdog) complained about for a legitimate title bout where the #1 p4p fighter has a chance to regain his title.

UFC 200 has been upgraded simply off this change.

Dana squirms at the hint of truth. Good call, Sherbro!

You guys need to get together on your conspiracies:

Was it media obligations? Threat of losing? Worry over low ppvs? Protecting McGregor? USADA? Pay? McGregor getting bigger than the UFC?...

I'm sorry, but if you think this all went down without any planning you're a dummy

I personally think it was all an elaborate ruse that everyone was in on, planned down to the first retirement tweet
