Good job..every year I say I am gonna go to the Kumite, but Pittsburgh is such a far drive.

Looks good man.

Have you trained any other martial arts besides BJJ for seven months?

Folkstyle in HS? Judo? Something?

Jaysus man, if you seriously only have 7 months of total grappling experience you are the second coming of BJ Penn...

Congrats! Very impressive victories for someone only training 7 months. How often do you train a week?

i never wrestled in hs, no judo, just bust my ass in new castle pa under john and kate rozzi (saulo brown belts) i trained six days a week for this tournament, about two hours a night after my classes were done at college.

and thanks for the kind words guys the highlight is on its way too

thanks for the kind words man, but we all know thats impossible haha. I only trained informally, as in i went with some friends who all knew nothing like me, to a place with mats and rolled around, for like a month.

For anyone that is interested here is a little highlight i threw together today, hope its not too shitty!!!!!

Thanks buddy, but why dont you believe me? i have no reason to lie!!!

I think I watched you matches, you're coach he is a little intense isn't he..

ya john gets into it, he is a great coach though. Definitely the kind of guy that would do anything for you

I suppose if he trained 6 days a week, 2-3 hours each training plus a few double trainings per day it is possible for him to be this good after 7 months. Even if he told us he has been training for a year he still looked very good in the videos.

I think one of your buddies also tried to topple a pillar in frustration.

hmmm i think you got the wrong guy, three of us fought me a dude in a black gi who is super calm, and a 12 year old kid
