So I went camping last Saturday. Ufc 241 was the first PPV I've missed in forever and mannn it was a tough pill to swallow. I watched most of it Sunday before succumbing to any spoilers (woot!), so here we go:
1. Sabina is a beauty and presents a lot of promise. A thorough beating everywhere, however her efficiency was lacking. She has a long ways to go and her opponent was tough as nails
2. Second fight was decent, I will remember it with the Cecil Peoples-esque ref. What the hell was that about?? Mouthpeice missing side control standup. Lmao
3. Nothing much to say about this one. Sort of a WMMA filler. Shockwave is quite the character
I saw no prelims but I hear the KO was sick
8. Decent opener, Brunson looked very improved
9. Sweet little back and forth fight, Sodiq is a beast
10. And herrrreee we go!!! Cream of the crop, what everyone was waiting for. This might be FotY. It lived up to all hype. Costa rose to the occasion and I feel he deserved the win. Romero is such a strange event to see, he pulled all the brakes and Costa is a GD terminator. Neither fighter may be the same. Thank you
11. Diaz was better than ever. I never saw such great leg kick defense from him. Pettis is one of the most human fighters I've seen, but he was doing well at the beginning. Nate was just better everywhere. I forgot how good his cagework was, that's what drained Pettis. I thought Pettis would win. WWE-esque interview, I don't want him and Jorge to fight each other but I would definitely root for Nate
12. Greatest HW title fight ever? You always feel for DC, but I felt even worse for Stipe when he gor KOed and shafted for Lesnar. Last Saturday his toughness and cardio prevailed. He seemed excited to win, but hardly sentimental. What a savage

This whole event was an anomaly for the quantity of decisions... But maybe the world needs to know you don't need a lot of finishes for an amazing series of fights. 9/10
