Ok, so I have long legs, and tend to catch people in triangles quite frequently. They are however a struggle to finish at times.
Today was the first day that I really set it up, exploded into it, and finished it without even pulling the head down. This triangle was sunk.
For all the newbs out there, I believe what made the biggest difference was the way I moved my hips and the strength I put into my leg that went over his neck.
This time when I went for the triangle (grabbing his right arm) I made sure to move my hips near perpendicular to him (turning my body to the right), the opposite side of the arm I was clenching. I then threw my right leg over his neck, but instead of just pushing up with my hips and trying to make the triangle with my other leg, I made sure to push his head to my left side with my right leg, and clamp down very hard on his neck all the while pulling his right arm very hard across to my right side. From there, brining my left leg to complete the triangle was simple, as he was already off balance. The pressure was immediate.
