My comment to Barut in the PR thread got me to thinking. There might be more retardo questions on this board than ever, but the base of regulars is getting stronger and stronger, which is something that makes me really happy. What makes me even happier, is seeing people who are advanced enough, come up with a synthesis of different lifting styles to suit their athletic persuits.

Anyway, my comment isn't restricted to Barut, a lot of you guys are starting to draw my attention with your lifts, and I'm happy to see the board getting stronger.

Now, lets just cut down on how many threads are made about grip or neck training ok?
 
yeah guys look out for me when i break my bench PR record this year passed 60KG!!!!!
 
a PR, is a PR, you cant compare yourself to others, since there is always somebody stronger.
 
But you can try to make this group smaller and smaller.
 
really I was thinking about this the other day. I'm pretty happy with how the board is running right now. It's sort of entering a second rennaisance. The vets are getting stronger, the advice is getting better, the attitude and comradery is enjoyable and less people are bitching about me closing shitty threads. Things are going very well.
 
I apologize now for all of the stupid questions I've asked in the past and all that I will surely ask in the future. I bow to the superiority of the board elders.

But, in all seriousness, thanks to all who have taken my questions sesriously and put up with my crap.
 
Now all we need is our yeti captain to start smashing PRs of his own and reassume his position at the front of our column of aspiring lifters. I know you've got a dozen and a half real obstacles between you and your lifting right now, but I can't wait until you pull 700. I'd be the first to say that the folks on this board like Barut and rickdog (aka SteveOly the whitebelt) and fatty and PariahCarey and all these other strong folks keep me pushing ahead in the gym and make this board a really healthy place for us at the low end of the food chain. But I think that most everyone would agree that the S&P forum would benefit from seeing you moving big weights again with a vengeance.

P.S.: In addition to be being strong, fat_wilhelm is a total postwhore. How'd he get blue before me? I was orange back when he was white. He's clearly on the juice.

true, im pretty stoked with my 120kg DL PR. which is cool

Hey i learned alot from you guys and am grateful for this forum. ...i guess Madmick started law school and Entrophy is being worked to death.

Thanks to the mods, Urban and KK, for putting time in and running the ship...

...and Carnal...i hope to see a few more 3:30 am rants that mix training advice, Rollinsesque tirades in CAPS, and other random drug induced (or even more frightening sober) statements about the universe, drinking urine, and metal.
