A short video of me, doing some bagwork I go for 6 minute, 6 rounds...I can take some hits and keep standing, why not take some advice from more experienced fighters here on sherdog forums...here's the link to my video:

I'm 17, I've been doing Dutch kickboxing for 3 years, out of Sitan Gym Rabat, Morocco. Any feedback on my technique and my mistakes (which I have many) is much appreciated, thank you.
 
how many times have you kicked the door? Advice: find a better place to hang the bag
 
You are arm punching for the most part. Get your hips into it. you seem to almost change your mind about a combo while you throw it hence why your feet are not planted very well. I would suggest going for 3 min rounds and REALLY focus on where your feet and hips are when you throw a punch. Less time with proper from is more beneficial than more time with bad form. Real power comes from your feet, legs and hips not your arms. Are you orthodox or south paw? you switch a ton which seems to throw you off. Stick to one at a time. I sometimes switch off round by round as I like both stances.

How the hell do you do a full routine with the bag in the closet......friggen strange. How often do you kick the wall or your door?

Keep it up though. People think anyone can work a bag properly and that is not the case. It takes a lot of practice and effort to get it right. A few tweaks and you will be doing good.
 
Havent u injured your foot yet? im surprised u can do spinning backfist and roundhouse with that kind of space
 
i would've broken my foot like 10x if i had a bag in my closet lol.

when u kick put ur arms up or ur gonna get KTFO.
 
I think it's time for you to come out of the closet, so to speak.
 
there's something very peculiar about all these training videos
once, i've seen a hindu guy shadowbox in his dining room wearing a v-neck sweater
another one was training with their little brother in the front yard, wearing muay thai trunks and no shirt
while you can see cars pass by

and now this?

is it that all of you are so broke, that you can't afford to join a gym?
 
Hey don't worry guys I have enough space, I have only been to a proper gym for 6 month out of three years, so most of my workouts are at home. I have hit my foot already, and smashed my left elbow several times.

Anyways thanks for your feedback. Will look to my mistakes.

You will probably get knocked out in 0.1 seconds by anyone who side steps out of the closet space and floors you.

Fighthouse is awesome, I wish I had more time to attend :) Hows the Wat treating you? I'm looking for a place where they do more light sparring on daily basis or so

It's difficult to say really. You look like you have decent punch combos...maybe! I was just wincing the whole time watching it, waiting for you to lay waste to your door frame and/or self.
 
Honestly, I am thoroughly impressed that you can do flying roundhouses and hit a bag in a closet........
 
thats not a closet...I didnt do that kick video over and over again, i kicked that bag nearly 60 times, those were only few kicks from my bag workout, u know u can criticize all u want...I just need to know my mistakes. Besides you haven't seen me sparr or seriuosly fight anyone..soo thats not everything in my arsenal :-D

Closet/door/whatever....... problem is it is limiting your range of motion and could be causing bad habits, seriously, find someplace else to hang that bag. Not to mention, kicking or punching a door frame is gonna get you hurt.

Your right body hook looked pretty good and I can tell you have some good athletic ability. Your kicks aren't bad. However, your hands sit right at your waist throughout most of the kick, this is preventing your hips/shoulder/core from getting behind the kick. It will give you far more power.......... Although it may be difficult to practice unless you hang that bag somewhere you can move around more. Keep working at it, good luck!
