Didn't feel great today. I've been a little sick, and my lower back was really talking to me during these sets today. So a short workout, got the minimum done & will be deloading next week.

Ending up booking a table at Teatro ZinZanni for Valentine's Day. Should be fun. My Class at Queen Mary Games will be throwing on Sunday 2/17, so hopefully I'll be able to fit that in the schedule.

Had to cut the workout a little short due to work. Really thought I had set 2 PRs today, but nope, just tied existing PRs. I really should have checked to see what my PR's were before lifting.

Push Press felt good, but was a little disappointing today. I failed 225 twice, wasn't even really close. Not sure why...I think I'm going to start working hard on Push Press starting the week of the 11th, since I'm deloading next week.

Your rack could use some work. At least from what I could tell, You've pressed 205, right ? 210 shouldn't be a PR man, it should be a warm up.

Good stuff today! 36" Box Jumps outside on a concrete wall while holding 25-lb dumbells was a little sketchy, but no problem. Squats are feeling good!

I like your style; particularly the ghetto weighted box jumps.

Was in Hawaii all week last week & didn't lift at all. So first day lifting in a week & it was a tough one. The double at 405 almost got stuck on the 2nd rep, just felt really heavy. But I got all my reps in even if I didn't feel too strong today, so thats good.

Deadlifts felt good & fast today. The singles at 445 were easy. I've been researching Push Press & I think I've been keeping my hands too close together. So today I played around with a wider grip. The grip felt pretty good, but need more work to get it comfortable.

Bench Press wasn't great today. Wanted 5 reps at 275, but only got 3 crappy ones. Push Press is feeling better, I think I've settled into a grip with my ring fingers on the rings. This really helps the rack position. Just need to keep working on it, I think it will get stronger.
