Buchecha playing with his lapel at the end = LOL
Go Buchecha! no worms here
Man, Keenan had Buchecha on the run for a lot of that match, but when the opportunity was there he scored instantly.
Buchecha swept Keenan as soon as Keenan came on top. Keenan's guard is annoying, but he can't pass so well, that will keep costing him matches.
Also, a gif of Buchecha playing with his lapel at the end of the match would be priceless
Maybe against Buchecha and Rodolfo not against everyone else. Only problem I see with the lapel guard that he was using is that it sometimes can leave him in a tricky position when he comes up on top. His passing is fantastic though, he is going to win his weight class tomorrow and will win a absolute world title soon I have no doubt.
Not sure what you're talking about here. Keenan has good passing(not as good as his guard obviously) he even showed pretty good passing in this match(obviously he was never able to finish the pass, but almost noone can against Buchecha).
The sequence at the beginning of the match were Buchecha went for a kneebar, then Keenan almost turned it into a berimbolo before Buchecha nearly took Keenan's back and then came up for the sweep was awesome too.
I mean, I think he has a pretty good chance but it's not by any stretch a foregone conclusion. To win he's probably going to have to get by Murillo Santana(who gave him a pretty tough time at Pans if I remember correctly), Braulio(who went 1-1 with him at Abu Dhabi Pro) and then Romulo in the finals(and I don't think the match they had at ADCC is really indicative of how the match would go in the gi). He's definitely capable of beating all those guys, but you make it sound like a sure thing and it's not.
what I'm talking about: Keenan have never passed a top level guard (from his weight or heavier).
seriously, that never, ever, happened...his passing is good, but not top level. Buchecha was calm the whole match, he knew he could sweep Keenan whenever he wanted
Sorry I'm not saying it as definite but it is my prediction. I just think that he's grappling incredibly well. He has a tough draw for sure but I think that he can do it.
Ok, I basically agree with what both you guys are saying(and re-reading your post's it should have probably been more obvious to me) I don't know why I took your statements as strong as I did, my bad
I think keenan was DQd so yeah
It's all good
Unfortunate, sucks for him.
The guy raised his arms up too like he had accomplished something. L-A-M-E.
Keenan is so boring to watch.
Sneak preview of Keenan working on his even-more-annoying guard game for 2015:
PS: Just love how buchecha smashes him up big time with knee on belly after he got the passing points.. It
He got played at the end with a change of pace, why did nobody told him to rush the last seconds like they were telling Buchecha.
This person's youtube page has a lot of videos on it.
Yet he's managed to pass Paulo Miyao's... how many people can say they've done that?
Not many, but Paulo also hasn't fought many top BBs yet. I think most of the medallists in this years Mundials could pass his guard, not that it would be easy.
what time in the vid does it happen? I will make a gif, but cant watch it all, at work.
