My mother who grew up in Ireland claims Muhammed Ali was the biggest sports star of her generation in Ireland. I guess I get Lorenzo's idea though ?

Not at all, just pointing out Ali himself has Irish ancestry, making him the one and only Muhammad Ali of Ireland. Might explain where Ali gets some of his attributes from like his quick wit when talking and his toughness and iron chin.
