Muay Thai/Kickboxing Tournaments in Oregon/Washington?

anybody know of any in Oregon or Washington? That'd be awesome. I've competed in Grappling Tourneys, but for some reason it's hard to find Muay Thai or KB Tourneys. . . I'm hesitant to engage in a TKD tournament, since I think they're bullshit.

(although one of my instructors went to a full contact TKD tourney, when the guy took his 'horse stance', my instructor came in with a *WHAM* Thai Roundhouse to the back of the thigh. . . was warned to keep above the belt. The guy switched sides into the same position, and *WHAM* roundhouse to the other leg- using the shin. He was immediately DQ'd and left. Funny story)

so. . .yeah. . . anyone know?

Its not a tournament, but AMC Pankration (www.pankration.com) usually has MT fights mixed with MMA matches at their amateur events. You could certainly aim to fight in one of those, and they are in Washington.

We have a smoker at the gym every month. Not a tourney, but you can usually fight more than once a night and they are pretty much full bore. They are fully padded (headgear + shingaurds) but you get some great fighters/fights so its great experience. We have gyms from all around the area show up, but I can tell you now that we have a few of the best HWs in the area at our gym, which it looks like you would be matched up with (by your sig).

We have one on the 16th of this month (which I probably can't do and am pissed about it) and then once a month every month after that. Come check it out if your interested.

Yup, and I was in Chicago at a f#cking wedding so I missed it too. NO ONE is more pissed then me. But, yes, thats our gym. I just found out today that the smoker was cancelled for this month, mainly because Kru is getting just about every gym with even 1 fighter around the area together now so we are planning on late June/early July. I will post more details as we get them if your interested.

Old school bump I know this thread is old, but I have the same question today, i've searched can't find anything, bjj and mma all around but I can't find any kickboxing/thai fights, anyone know?
