Muay Thai Gloves/Shin Pads Help

Fairtex does have the reputation for being top of the line for thai-brand gloves. But do you mind telling us what you plan on using the gloves for. Heavy bag, pads, sparring? etc..

Hey guys, do you know if the Full Contact Outlet is a trustworthy website for ordering gears? I’ve placed an order more than 10 days ago, and emailed them a week later to check on the status of my order, but I haven’t heard anything back from them. Of course, they haven’t charged me yet either, but I needed the shin guard and am still waiting for it not knowing what is happening. They provide no phone number on the site.

The other question that I have is about work out supplements. I’ve tried Force Factor, Viper, RFS, 5-hour energy, and some other products in the market (each for the matter of a week or so), but none of them did S*** for me. They all promise the world, but it’s all BS. All I really want is to have a great energy level to push it hard when I get to the gym and get ripped. I’m 5. 8 and weight 150 lbs. So, I’m lean already. I don’t need a fat burner. Some of my friends have couple of huge cans of various powders: one for before working out, one to sip while working out, one for after workout … Really silly! You know what I’m talking about. Any suggestions for a simple product that really works!!!

I have a pair of fairtex heavy hitters (BGV-9) in 14 oz that I use for pad/focus mitt/bag work, and would really recommend them. The padding is top notch, and the wrist support is good even when not wearing handwraps. As far as shinpads go, I use the combat sports intl. gel shin pads, and love them. I got the grappling version to use for mma sparring, but i also started using them for muay thai sparring. For muay thai, i tape them with hockey tape around the top of the shin, and middle of the shin to make sure they don't slide.
