He is the wolf

Pico is smart, he wouldn’t be here unless he was ready for prime time.

It’s his time now
That's what I thought about Patchy. And then watched one of the better grapplers in MMA be content to lose a one-sided kickboxing sparring session.

Some of these guys that are clearly elite talents get to the UFC and their brains shut down.

What a clownshow of a fucking company man

It's almost like they're trying to destroy their fanbase

Only thing they truly care about is increasing quarterly profit margins for the investors.

Outside of that, I don’t think they really care or invest much in fan opinions anymore. Whatever passion used to exist for this sport within the ownership is long gone, other than maybe Dana, but even he’s treating it like another day at the office.

I call it corporate shittification

Like the one food cart that used to be dope, gets bought out by a mega company and mass produces them, cuts all the quality, raises the prices, changes the recipe to improve profit margins and ease of application.

Basically what’s happened to the ufc, it becomes a passionless enterprise that loses the spirit and essence of what got it to the dance.

They’ll pull something retarded like Lopes vs Yair for the interim title putting Mosvar on ice even longer. How the fuck is this fight not Yair vs Pico. So stupid

Pretty sure Dana White is dyslexic. When he was making the announcement he repeatedly called Evloev "Mosvar".

He also claimed that Said Nurmagomedov is Khabib's cousin, which is false.
To be fair, I probably would have made the same mistake with the Nurmagomedov one. It’s honestly hard to keep up with all of them.

I honestly like Aaron Pico as a fighter. But I think this is a horrible match up for him. It seems like the sole purpose of these Bellator signings is to prove a point.

PFL and Bellator must really be going through tough times if all these fighters are willing to forgo the freedom and sponsorships, to fight for the UFC, who we know doesn’t really pay them anything.

I think Said is the only one who isn't directly related to Khabib.

Pico fights at a crazy pace but he is also bit of a glass cannon. I am a fan but he is more or less the same fighter since he debuted. I wish he fought a little smarter and relied more on technique instead of physicality.

With Pico, I think he’s always had that raw talent, mindset and potential for greatness.

Only now we see it beginning to crystallize.

He’s one of the best wrestlers to transition in MMA history. Had no collegiate career, but beat some of the most impressive multiple time NCAA champions in the country during the Olympic trials, at 19-20 years old.

If he kept wrestling, he would’ve gotten a gold medal. He was that good.

But he transitioned to mma instead.

His only enemy is himself at this point, if he performs to his potential, he’s gonna beat everyone.

He’s a lot more defensively responsible. Better boxing, strikes, transitions, ground and pound seamless compared to earlier stages of his career. Better fight iq by far, everything he does is calculated and specific.

Would’ve liked to see him train more jiu jitsu though. I’ll never understand these upper echelon wrestlers that don’t fully commit to jiu jitsu

Maybe. If he beats Movsar the sky is the limit. I gotta see him do it though.

even if he loses, it'll be ok as long as he doesn't get completely blown out (pause) its much better than a Mix losing to Mario Bautista situation.. but evloev, no shame in losing to the 2nd best fighter in the division.
That’s true

Hopefully Pico annihilates him.

Zero damage fighters need to go man. Training for control over damage is selfish and boring.

Rooting for Pico but I think Movsar might get his first finish in the UFC.

That's a fuckin loaded card
Way better than some PPVs this year
I am picking Evloev here as I haven't seen much of Pico

I don't doubt he can hang with the elite. All I'm saying is they didn't even gave him a warm up fight.
Not even a favorable matchup.

Gaethje got Michael Johnson
Chandler got Hooker
Ptibull got Yair (lol... that backfired)
Patchy Mix got Bautista (lol x2)

What is Pico's best win so far? I don't know any names on his resume.

I guess the UFC are hoping that Pico's wrestling will be kryptonite for Evloev?
