It really doesnt, there are so many other movies being released to theaters every week, lot of em really good, if you people would stop spending so much time whining on the internet and a little more time actually going to see the movies that you claim to want then maybe some of em would actually make some fucking money

Not really seeing the MCU as ever trying to be "cool", the DCU EU and indeed Zack Synder generally on the other hand is a pretty obvious example of this for me.

Honestly thought it was better than anything Guy Ritchie has done since Snatch and perhaps better than that, certainly was less convinced of its own coolness than Ritchie generally seems to be.

I mean whether you think they include those things or not or whether you think there a positive or not I don't really think they are attempting to be "cool", attempting to be funny, dynamic, etc, yes but cool? I would say not personally as they seem aware there settings a bit over the top and goofy and either just play it for big hearted drama or poke fun at it.

Someone like Snyder though to me seems to think he's making ultra cool cinema, Watchmen I spose you could argue was poking fun at itself a bit but the rest is wrongly convinced its sub zero.
