I was re-watching season one of Gotham and enjoyed the character of Ogre. Curios to know if there are villains like him? I mean in regards to the antagonist being charismatic, sly and superficially charming. The one I can think of is The stepfather but that's more family and not romance. Also there was an episode in Poltergeist with Geordie Johnson playing the supernatural lover who looks to seduce and trap women in to his dimension.
I loved this one. So much subtle commentary about the battle of the sexes in it and the rapid change in culture that has taken place over the past 50 years. It's way, way smarter than I think the general public realized. It was like a good-natured War of the Roses. Speaking of Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner, here's another cult classic of the subgenre-- perhaps the subgenre's defining film: And the sequel: In that vein is another cult classic. This one, on the other hand, was a commercial flop and was critically panned. Screw that. It's awesome. Don't miss Geena's titties:
