The things you own end up owning you
- Fight Club
Why are you gay?
"I guess it comes down to a simple choice really: Get busy livin' or get busy dyin'."
It's gotta be tough to beat that one. Shawshank Redemption, btw, not that I needed to tell you.
No defense. Got that wrong.
Your are correct. Can't believe I got that wrong.
I even looked up the quote to get the wording right.
Shit. I thought you were trolling, hence the like. Will have to unlike now that i know you made a mistake.
Get busy Livin, or get busy dyin
Hey Cinderella. Go get yourself a fella!
Soon it was commonplace for entire teams to change cities in search of greater profits. The Minneapolis Lakers moved to Los Angeles where there are no lakes. The Oilers moved to Tennessee where there is no oil. The Jazz moved to Salt Lake City where they don't allow music.
Outta the way, Peck
Go fuck yourself.
Not a quote, but easily the best speech from a movie of all time. Chaplin was all about the slapstick, but god damned if he didn't nail this. He wrote it, an when the time came he sunk his soul into it and and knocked it so far out of the park people a century from now will still be studying it to see what true art is in the realm of acting.
Damn haven't seen that movie in ages. I think Colors is the reason I dislike Sean Penn.
Hey, anybody come at you yet? Anybody get to you yet?
Hey, we all need friends in here. I could be a friend to you.
Hard to get. I like that...
Since the title says movie quotes, but the first quote in the OP is from a TV show, I'm going to go TV show.
Rust Cohle's are by far the best. These are brilliant:
"If the only thing keeping a person decent is the expectation of divine reward then, brother, that person is a piece of s***. And I’d like to get as many of them out in the open as possible. You gotta get together and tell yourself stories that violate every law of the universe just to get through the goddamn day? What’s that say about your reality?"
"I think human consciousness, is a tragic misstep in evolution. We became too self-aware, nature created an aspect of nature separate from itself, we are creatures that should not exist by natural law. We are things that labor under the illusion of having a self; an accretion of sensory, experience and feeling, programmed with total assurance that we are each somebody, when in fact everybody is nobody. Maybe the honorable thing for our species to do is deny our programming, stop reproducing, walk hand in hand into extinction, one last midnight - brothers and sisters opting out of a raw deal."
Its not violence that sets man apart but the distance he is prepared to go
Why do you think that is a truth about life? Are you often propositioned by bull queers?
Separate names with a comma.
