Movie: Mom and Dad.

I'm starting it now and will check in once it's finished to give a non spoiler review.

It's starring Nic Cage and is apparently a horror thriller. I could NOT be more EXCITED!

I haven't seen it yet, let me know if its any good, worth watching or not. I like Nicholas Cage as a actor.

I haven't had much time to watch many movies this year, I watched a few but the only horror movie I seen this year is Winchester and it was absoutley awful, very bad movie, I didn't like it at all. I managed with sheer will to get through about 35-40 minutes and just couldn't take no more. The movie just didn't flow at all.

Damn...the trailer for Winchester looked AWESOME. That really bums me out you didnt like it.

As for Mom and Dad...pretty much the same experience that you had with Winchester. I got 45 minutes in and was just bored out of my mind..silly plot, silly execution. A weird forced version of "dark humor" that was not landing for me.

I almost never, ever abandon a movie once I start it. This was an exceptionally rare occurrence

Winchester is a pretty well done haunted house movie, not overly scary or super fast paced, but I thought it was pretty interesting, well acted, and beautifully shot.
