Mousasi would destroy Du Plessis

King Mo KOed Jiri on the feet and was one of the best wrestlers to ever compete at 205. Besides, it was a close loss where Mo won 3 rounds via top control but got beat up pretty badly in the fight. With the judging criteria we have now Mo probably would have lost 48-47 instead of winning 48-47.
Great 205-pound wrestlers don't lose to Emmanuel Newton...twice!

So good he got destroyed by Cavalcante and lost to Emmanuel LOL Newton twice in his prime!

Feijao was Anderson Silvas training partner, he was juiced up and skilled af. His win over Mo was very impressive just like his win over Romero was.

Listen to what fighters who actually trained with King Mo say about him. The guy was an Olympic wrestler and D1 wrestling champion who beat Mousasi and knocked out Jiri.

Rashad Evans said that King Mo was the best MMA wrestler hes ever trained with. You're a classic internet rat who defines fighters by their bad performances.

A Kermit the frog like twerp.

Big Mousasi fan but he hasn't been looking so hot lately. Too many miles on him at this point. imho

Maybe a decade ago but I still doubt it. He came over to the UFC and was solid but nowhere near what his fans claim. Moose fans legitimately believe him to be the GOAT and have been saying how he’d win the MW belt for 15+ years yet he couldn’t when he actually tried.

I respect his career and it’s possible but he’s 10 years past his prime. Time to move on. He fumbled by not resigning after Weidman and staying with the UFC tbh.
I think the Moose that beat Weidman in 2017 could beat DDP.

I am a big fan but definitely didnt think he was the eventual goat. I expected more from his career but he still had a great career and has like 50 wins. I think he was always better than Weidman and Rockhold. Maybe on same level or just below Romero and Whittaker. Went 1-1 with Jacare. Mousasi was one of the best MWs we ever saw

I personally think peak Mousasi was better than Whittaker and Izzy.

You're underrated King Mo, the fact that it was at 205 and not 185 and that style match ups matter. Besides like I said in my previous post with the modern judging criteria Mousasi probably would have won.
Again my point wasn't so much about discounting King Mo as it was about discounting the level of hype behind the Moose. The hype being that the Moose was aligned with M1 Global and Fedor's squad and he could beat people anywhere, at their own game, etc.

Keep in mind the Moose also took Keith Jardine to a draw...

Don't assume my opinion is what other people have said, Mousasi was a great MW but he also fought at LHW and HW which resulted in more losses than if he had just stuck to MW. He wasn't the best MW ever but he was definitely a top 10 MW all time and I have him not far outside the top 5 and he could and did beat some guys I have in the top 5 all time at MW. He was not unbeatable, his TDD against singles and doubles was not good and he sometimes didn't fight with enough urgency.

You can't assume King Mo would have done well at MW, not everyone does well at the lowest weight-class they can make, Dan Henderson for example has better wins at LHW and HW and a better record at those weights than he does at MW and he's an even smaller guy than King Mo was.

If you ever saw the Jardine fight you would know that he kicked his ass and it shouldn't have been a draw and he had a point deducted for an up kick. Just stop debating me about this, there are massive holes in all of your arguments.

Triggered little girl, aren't you? Let me guess, Poatan and Mike Tyson said Emmanuel Newton was the world's best striker, so that's why he beat King Mo twice, even though he didn't do much else impressive his entire career. <lol>

Fighters lose sometimes and normal people understand it happens: sometimes because they just have a bad night, or because theyre injured or just because its a bad match up for them and clowns like you try to define them by it to sound edgy on the internet. A pathetic existence.

A clown like you will downplay King Mo knocking out Jiri or beating Mousasi but will crucify him for having tough fights against Newton- during a time which King Mo nearly died from staph infection and had reconstructive surgery on his knee. You're a straight up chump.

No EBT cards here little guy, I'm very fortunate. You sound like someone who sees eating at Denny's as a real "treat"
