I would personally love this fight.
 
I love the idea.

Mousasi has always been the LHW Maia to me. He's seriously skilled but a bit undersized at his weight class.

It's time for him to make the move just like Maia.
 
Maybe he was just being sarcastic, it's hard to tell in print. I'm sure he could make the weight if he wanted to though. He's pretty small for a LHW, can't be cutting that much weight (if any at all).
 
Bisping Gegard is a great fight. Mousasi would be the rightful favorite but I think Bisping would have a good chance against him

Yeah I'm not sure if his answer was serious or not, but I love the idea of him going to 185 and fight Bisping. He said he may go down for a top 5 opponent, and Bisping is no joke.
 
i think he would have an easier time to get a title shot at 185 imo and much better stylistic match ups

I believe he cuts weight to make 205. Sure I heard him talking about a difficult weight cut when he faught Sokodju.

About him being too small?..He's no smaller than Machida, Hendo, Belfort, Gus or a bunch of other contenders at 205.
 
Mousasi needs to stay at 205.

It's the right weight for him - the cut is too much at 185.

if you say bisping = over and gegard = underrated, than ok, but the other way :icon_lol:

what could bisping do? he needs to take mousasi down, else he would get tooled, which is not even questionable.

people want him to fight for the title, thats enough i guess. the guy is a mediocre fighter with a big mouth who doesnt deliver.

He cut 4 pounds against Kyle.

A week before the fight with Gus he was at McDonalds (was still fighting Gus at this point).

He's actually training hard now so I don't think the cut would be as hard as before, and i'd love to see him there.
