Working on escapes from mount with my students, just wanted to see if you guys have any videos or resources on getting out of mount you would like to share. Weather videos, or just mention techniques you use the most and have the most success with
    Cheers

The three that work best for me against good guys are:

    1. Basic elbow escape
    2. Basic bump and roll (upa)
    3. Elbow escape/foot drag

For me, the key is getting myself to a safe defensive position and then attempting these techniques. I find that when people just go for the moves with no set up and no defense, it's both easy to counter the movement and you leave yourself vulnerable to attack during the escape.

The foot drag is my go to, possibly due to my soccer background.
