What are the most valiant losses in UFC/MMA history?

Fights where the loser deserves a ton of credit for showing up and fighting the good fight.

Most recently Rory against Lawler...Gus against Jones is right up there. Also:

    Hunt VS JDS
    Sonnen / Silva 1

    What else?

JDS/Cain 2 and 3. JDS showed a lot of heart to be able to take those beatings for that long.

What about Franklin Anderson II. You have to give him a toooooon of credit for getting back in there and trying his best.

Hendo / Shogun II. Shogun was winning until he got nicked by the H-Bomb

Wand / CroCop II. Wand stepped up to fight at HW and got destroyed by one of the most devastating strikers in history.

The one where Varner broke his leg. A lot of people didn't like him, at least not until he seemed to mature in his last few years, but I really liked and miss the dude.

Fedor vs Big Foot. I seriously can't imagine anyone else surviving a round of BF's full mount.

    Kohsaka vs Hunt (A WAR)

Herring vs Fedor and Brock (how the f*ck did he survive those beatings?

Minotauro vs Fedor 1 and 3. He should have gone to sleep many times in both fights.

CC vs Fedor (CC gave Fedor hell from his back)

Schilt, Fujita, Coleman, Randleman, Hunt, Lindland, Arlovski and Rogers vs Fedor:)

    Sapp vs Minotauro.

    Yokoi vs Minotauro

    Zentsov vs Werdum
