2014: George St-Pierre has just left, Jon Jones looks to be the most dominant champion ever, Ronda Rousey has just beaten Miesha Tate but is not the Hollywood megastar she eventually would be, and Dominick Cruz comes back with an impressive performance but injures himself thereafter in what looks to be a career-ender.

The differences between then and now just illustrate how quickly the MMA landscape changes, and nothing really lasts forever. Dominant, seemingly "unbeatable" champions do eventually lose, unexpected challengers (like dos Anjos) become champions, and external issues (like injuries and rugs) end up sabotaging plans all the time.

Toss up between Tate winning the belt and Bisping upsetting Anderson. Although I guess there would have been a chance of Ronda retiring and vacating the title.

Tough options. I went with Bisping upsetting Anderson. Didn't expect he'd even get to fight Anderson, much less win. Although Conor beating Aldo is probably even more incredible to believe, I probably should have went with that.

Silva/Bisping for me. Holly/Ronda close second.

Also I think "Jose Aldo would lose his title by 13 sec KO" would also be pretty hard to swallow.

Ronda getting beat by Holly a pure striker with no grappling. Anderson getting BTFO by Bisping. Fedor Emelianenko coming out of retirement.

A lot of good choices there. The only ones that I don't think are that surprising are Mighty Mouse p4p, Cruz champ and GSP retired. I voted for Holm beating Rousey, but there were a lot of choices I could've voted for. Like Anderson losing to Bisping and Tate being champ, etc.

Bisping beating Andersen a few years ago wouldn't have been believable

Bisping getting a title shot, winning and even defending the belt is even weirder than him beating Anderson.

LOL at Werdum beating Cain, anyone with a brain should have known a guy who beat Fedor has a chance to beat a guy hyped to the moon for being a bad matchup for JDS.

Bisping beating Anderson or Holly beating Ronda for sure.

Paige VanZant will headline two UFC cards by the end of 2016.
