Most Traumatic Losses

When JDS lost his title to Cain. It was a one sided beatdown when JDS seemed all but unstoppable prior to that. It put heavy mileage on his previous iron chin, and JDS was never the same again

Holm v Rousey of course.

but I disagree about Woodley. Woodley was already broken by the time Usman got to him. Woodley has almost always had the habit of becoming totally gun-shy when faced with any adversity whatsoever. If he eats one punch he abandons offense and begins keeping himself backed against the cage winging the single occasional punch

Agreed with Holmes vs Rousey. That head kick completely shattered Rouseys face, spirit and mental state.

This had to have been pretty traumatic

The physical trauma of a loss is nothing compared to the psychological trauma. As far as physical tho, the worst i have seen was definitely Bullock vs Fulton:

And in the UFC, it had to have been Andy vs Weidman II.

The most traumatic psychological losses have been when you have these super alpha fighters that think they are invincible and then get beaten, especially if there was extra pressure before the fight and the loss was definitive - Holm vs Rousey, Jones vs DC II, Weidman vs Luke, Aldo vs Conor just to name a few. The Luke vs Weidman one was especially brutal as it was not a quick finish, it was like we were watching a murder in front of us, a previously undefeated wrestling champion that dethroned Silva having his soul being taken in front of us - it was something you were more inclined to see on Livegore, not fight pass. And when those undefeated champions that take such utterly humiliating defeats return, they lose a part of themselves and are never the same again - Rousey was a shell of herself in her return, Weidman has never been the same, Brock was a shell of himself after Cain, and Barao was a shadow of his former self after TJ got done with him. Some fighters make great hammers but horrible nails.

Usman was also a horrible style for him, would have dominated any version of Tyrone at any time. Woodley always struggled with good wrestlers that had complete games and were not intimidated by him. I remember when young Mein was giving him serious problems in Strikeforce, Marquardt absolutely bludgeoned him, and Rory made him look like a deer in headlights. TWood's champion run was a great example of being in the right place at the right time, getting their via facing past their prime (ex) champions (Robbie/Big Rig), up and comers that were not ready (Till) or getting lucky calls here and there (Gastelum and WB). As soon as he fought in prime complete fighters, he got schooled. Crazy to think people were talking about him being better that GSP.
