I might be suffering from recency bias but Cerrone completely sonning Alexander Hernandez was the most satisfying for me.

Hernandez talking so much shit about Cerrone, getting him all mad and acting like this will be his easiest fight. Hernandez was undefeated and had just finished mauling OAM and KOing Dariush.

This fight was made for him to jump the LW rankings.

Don’t get me wrong, Hernandez looked good for about 30 seconds until he realized he couldn’t KO Cerrone and started eating THE KNEES.

Took only 2 rounds to exhaust and destroy Hernandez, with a headkick KO to finish.

I also think he arguably lost every round to Trinaldo and somehow got a win.

    Eddie Alveraz? If that counts.

It was a fun UFC vs Bellator and I don't think anybody knew what to expect from one of Bellators best

As someone that was eating up Hernandez's hype like puppy chow and claiming that he was an atrocious style match up for Cerrone, it certainly did shut me the hell up. He absolutely dominated that fight. I felt that the trash talk was very unnatural and forced on Hernandez's part as well. In Hernandez's follow up fight against Trinaldo, he looked like a completely different fighter than when he fought OAM. I felt he lost that one. He still has potential, but that fight with him and Cowboy really put the brakes on that hype for sure. I also think it was the best thing that could've happened to Hernandez -- it really humbled him seemingly, despite his (in my opinion) lackluster performance against Trinaldo.

Pretty sure Jury was undefeated at the time, or on a impressive win streak.

    Edit: both.

Sooo.. If he 'absolutely dominated' then why did he claim that a young vers of him would have quit?

I don't know -- poor choice of words on my part. Hernandez got some good shots in I guess.

That was the Iaquinta fight when said that. The first 2 round he said he fought like a bitch and got rocked once. Not the Herndez fight.

Cerrone has alot of fun fights. He played with Jeremy Stephens like a toy. Too bad the guy is getting old and worn. Exciting fighter always. He should have pulled guard against connie. His guard is wicked. He just wants to be a striker.

Embarrassing L for Jury and his stock went to absolute zero after this loss. He was a young, technical, undefeated fighter who was picking everyone apart and rarely took punishment...and then basically quit against Cerrone by refusing to even try to get back to his feet. That's the angriest Cerrone we've seen, and only because Jury was in retreat mode after eating a few early and basically refused to engage, backing up, not getting to his feet, ect. He paid for it though, apparently the dude couldn't walk properly for weeks.

This is the definition of a prospect finding their ceiling and never fighting the same again. From undefeated and beating a couple of legends in Sanchez and Gomi, to going 2-5 after Cerrone put a beating on him.
