What is your most memorable experience from a live event?

Doesnt matter if its witnessing a particular fight, meeting a particular celebrity or fighter, atmosphere of the crowd, etc.

    What you got Sherdog?

I have only been to one event which was UFC on FOX: Gustafsson vs Rumble.

The silence in the arena after Goddard waved it off was surreal.

Met Brian Stann, guy's a total class act. Went out of his way to have his picture taken with my nephew.

  9. WEC 49: WEC debut of Renan Barao, really fun card overall. I'm glad I got the chance to attend a WEC event before the UFC merger.

UFC 131: Weidman/Bongfeldt when Weidman was still a prelim fighter, Stout/Edwards (KTFO), Herman/Einemo (Brawl)

    UFC 149: Jimmo/Perosh (7 second KO)

UFC 181: Brendan Schaub gets pounded out by Travis Browne, Anthony Pettis defends his title and Robbie Lawler wins the title.

I missed the Samman/Gordon KO unfortunately.

I've been quite lucky in my live MMA career

Saw 189 in Vegas, lawler v McDonald followed by Conor flattening mendes

Then I was at 193 in Melbourne, quite possibly the happiest I have ever been while watching sport of any kind.

I am forever in debt to holly holm for the joy she gave me that Sunday afternoon

UFC 199. The whole damn card.

Hendo KO'ing Lombard with that side elbow and the entire place going ape shit. Everyone was screaming and hugging each other. Amazing.

The ladys of our bunch wanted to meet tyrone woodleys mother. Felt like we were instantly inserted into a tyler perry movie. She was so excited. Her "baby" (as she kept callin him) just beat paul daley. I won a buncha $ betn on him. Im sure she felt like a star people comin up, takin pics with her. Now hes the champ. I bet she lost her voice she was prolly screamin so much.

I feel like ufc should have managers like the wwf did. Have em come out and be their mouth piece. Woodley has his mama. Wiedman has his papa. Nate has nick and vice versa. Would make it way funner to watch

I'll add a semi-funny story: I was at Rampage vs. Jardine in Columbus, and happen to be seated next to a dude who looked almost identical to "The Dean of Mean".

As I watched the fight unfold, I noticed the fan I was next to grew more and more frusterated with what he was witnessing (Jackson eeking out a decision). The final seconds of the bout, when Jackson knocked Jardine down and sealed the win, the dude (picture this: bald, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and an anvil-style goatee) had his head in his hands.

I just found it amusing, that in certain cases, you know who a guy's rooting for by looking at him.

But hey, on the bright side, on that card we got to see Shane Carwin LEVEL Gabriel Gonzaga (a classic KO).

Connors walkout at 189 against Mendes was one of the most epic things I had the pleasure of witnessing in person.

3 in particular stand out. 2 UFC and one strikeforce.

1 I saw Ronda tap Zingano. It was a crazy quick ending and the place went nuts.

Saw werdum tap fedor. Me and my buddy were such idiots we stoop up and yelled "he tapped" as if everyone didn't see it.

Saw Anderson break his leg vs weidman. That was as silent as I've ever seen an arena.

Some drunk hillbilly tripping up the stairs and dropping like four big ass cups of beer at Diaz vs Neer.
