Just want to hear everyone's thoughts on who you think is the most exciting grappler to watch?
rafa & cobrinha when they dont fight each other (exception being the adcc final)
Lucas Lepri is great to watch.
Marcelo Garcia as well, obviously.
Marcelo Garcia and Cobrinha
Wilson Reis, Hideo Tokoro, Daisuke Nakamura, Shinya Aoki.
Fedor emelianenko and werdum lol. (i put werdum's name there so NO ONE WOULD have to waste there time talkin sht to me lol)
Cobrinha when he's fighting anyone but Rafa
Arona (fuck off his control and use of position is sick)
Jacare highlights never fail to brighten my day.
holy shit, fuck a flying armbar. that was nuts!
Almeida and Jacare come to mind.
Any other answers are wrong
I agree in terms of modern day. I think Roger is in there too, particularly when rolling with guys like Terere
EDIT: and Jacare
All time, I think you have to include Terere
With the Gi
Ronaldo Jacare (takedowns, passes, flying triangles) jacare is the bigger version of terere
Fernando Terere (takedows, passes, flying triangles)
Rubens Charles (passes, submissions, sweeps)
Andre Galvao (he's a former student of terere) remember his fight with braulio estima in the mundials (takedowns and flying omoplata) and his destruction of marin suarez in the pan ams
Marcelo Garcia (arm drags, guillotines, north south chokes, taking the back, RNC)
Braulio Estima (inverted triangles and triangle submissions in general)
Rafael Mendes (ADCC dynamic 50/50 guard, heel hooks, ankle locks, knee bars, taking the back, brabo choke)
Fabricio Werdum (he has submitted Fedor. Watch his pride fights)
Rodrigo Noguiera of Old (watch his old pride fights)
Separate names with a comma.
