Was this Ronda Rousey comeback the most embarrassing comeback in sports history?

Given all the hype, all the videos hyping up her comeback and not even acknowledging Nunes, Ronda acting all mysterious with her media blackout, the mean mug entrance... and then she goes in there and looks like a punching bag for 48 seconds. I can't even.

They should let all four Horsewomen fight a single opponent, then maybe they could get a win.

It's more like Ronda's worst nightmare fully realized.

She probably was dreaming about coming back and finishing quickly and prepared to be put on a pedestal once again to be adored. That was her best-case scenario.

Instead the worst-case scenario was exactly what happened -- got humiliated, made to look like an amateur that did not belong, transported right back to the familiar feeling when she got schooled by Holm.

Her stock could not have dropped any lower.

Yes, that was as embarrassing as it gets. Silva's comeback after the first Weidman loss was looking bad but his leg breaking turned into more like people feeling really bad for him, plus he was at least mounting some good offense from his back.

All that hype, all that bullshit promotion and what we see is that Ronda learned nothing from her Holm fight. Literally nothing.

Sugar Ray Leonard's last comeback to fight Hector Macho Camacho where he was dominated for 4 rounds and eventually retired due to a "calf muscle" injury :(

The only way her comeback could have been worse is if she shit herself in the cage. Even a 10 second one-punch KO wouldn't have been as bad IMO.

What made it horrible was the fact that she showed her awful stand up skills and a complete inability to react properly to getting hit. We saw Dom rocked several times in his fight... when he got hit he didn't just stand there staring off into space with his chin and head up, he had the wherewithal to move and try to protect himself.

Ronda had no clue what to do when she got hurt, and that's something you see from amateurs. It was horrendous how bad she looked, considering she was supposedly a "once ever athlete" and women's GOAT.

The only thing she proved me wrong on was she made this more embarrassing than the Holm fight and all under a minute. She doesn't have one embarrassing return she has 2 and how she topped the first one well that was just brilliant.
