Most effective ab exercises?

    What exercises have you had the best luck with for lower abs?

    heavy bag, sprawl/burpee type movements, sledgehammer, medicine ball overhead tosses.

    A ton of research has been done on this. Bicycles are most effective, followed by crunches on the stability ball, and that thing you hang on to at the gym that allows you to do good reverse crunches. And yea... heavy bag work, throwing hard kicks, punches, etc. build some serious core muslces.
