Some examples: I was on cruise control, I had knee problems, I had family issues, I wasn't motivated for this fight, I didn't care about fighting

Miesha vs. Cat-

Miesha- I was still shooting..(belly down, face down arms extended)??

Diaz vs Condit

Diaz-he ran from me the whole time what was I supposed to do(not word for word)

Tiki Ghosn vs Robbie Lawler.

It was stopped to a cut - Tiki

But continuing, when Nate said Bendo just beat him "because he punched me in the eye". Someone should tell Nate that that's part of fighting.

Mir vs Barnett- claimed he was going for a takedown when that knee sent him face first into the mat..

Not mma but in boxing they had to wheel chair a guy to the post fight press conference because he claimed he hurt his ankles in the fight because he didn't wear socks

I can't remember, was Tito's cracked skull an excuse for a loss or a statement?

I just thought it was stupid when Diego brought up that food thing when he lost to Jury.

This wasn't MMA, but in boxing: Klitchko vs. David Haye. There was no excuse Haye could come up with that would justify him ONLY THROWING 37 punches in the whole 12 round fight. And at the end "Oh, I broke my toe a few weeks before the fight." Faber broke his hand and still possibly threw/landed more punches than Haye threw.

I was fighting at 70%.

:) that was ridiculous

Bisping's excuse that Kennedy didn't "engage" him was pretty pathetic.
