Morton salt factory spill - I don't know why this is so funny

I didn't even read the article but the picture is making me laugh my ass off for some reason. I guess because it just seems so ridiculous, like behind every brick wall is a giant mound of salt, they just keep it in piles, don't even put it in giant metal containers or anything. Just wall to wall salt, stacked 3 stories high.

I thought Gymkata was silly when they portrayed a salt mine as people taking pick-axes to piles of salt in a warehouse. Maybe that movie was right about everything else as well.

LOL. I noticed that in the "modern marvels" about salt. They don't seem very concerned about it getting contaminated or dirty in some way. Maybe they know something I don't, but it definitely seems strange.
