More on Diaz/Guida backstage fight

Jason needs to be banned. The guy is dumb as hell.

Jason sounds pretty retarded.
This is not his first shining moment.
He was talking some mobster BS to someone, I forget who it was.

Nick probably said You're outside of the octagon btw.

Didn't he miss out on TUF because he couldn't make weight? And not for a fight in the middle of the show, where you might be able to understand because making weight repeatedly in a short period can be tough as hell. He showed up for the tryouts way too big.

Well it sounds like it was more Jason than Clay that did anything. Can't really blame Clay when he's still getting his senses back.
Definitely, Clay's in loopy land but Jason, no excuse for that kind of bullshit. Buchholz has my respect for showing class there.

A guy with a 19-28 record in small shows shouldn't be picking fights.

He's a fucking clown.

What's the story behind this?

He came into the match looking heavily out of shape with a newly shaved head. Not only did he become winded and outmatched by his opponent but had a rather suspicious loss of his mouthpiece during the last round and even sat down appearing not to be too concerned with it's wherabouts. When offered a new mouthpiece by the ref after an elongated amount of time had passed (crowd booing, mouthpiece apparently not in ring or possibly hidden for a "rest") he absolutely refused the mouthpiece. Finally his corner "found" the mouthpiece just after the ref was threatening to DQ him, then another delay for cleaning it. After this charade had ended he was the recipient of a flury of punches against the cage mesh, almost a standing fetal position. Referee jumped between the fighters calling a TKO and in typical Jason Guida fashion (zero class) he shoved the referee in the chest practically knocking him down and began voicing his disbelief that he had lost, then sat on the floor of the cage moping. Not only did he not show any type of sportsmanship to his opponent after the match but was nowwhere to be seen as the cameras interviewed Mamed. Clay shows a great deal of support by being in his brothers corner for support and Jason blows it again in an amazing display of being out of shape and having zero sportsmanship. Sad.

I think J Guida is pretty damaged, like as in CTE type damage. Everything I've ever read, heard, or seen of him, paints him as extremely unstable.

What's the story behind this?
Guida refused to put a replacement mouthpiece in when his got kicked out of the cage and was nearly DQed, then took a (justified, but borderline) standing TKO when he didn't fight back.

Khalidov accidentally kicked it out of the cage, it was legitimately lost.
