More likely to happen, Weidman vs Chael or Bones vs Spider?

Weidman vs chael could definitely happen. The other not so much. Weidman would tool cheal without much trouble imo. Round 1 Sub

Anderson won't be fighting at LHW likely ever again unless it's another short notice "save the card" fight. & that wouldn't be against Jones.

Chael will go back down to MW at some point where he can definitely earn a title shot. Or if Chris loses the fight becomes more likely.
 
Weidman vs Chael has a nonzero chance of happening. Jones vs Silva doesn't.

A nonzero chance?? is that like any chance not zero (like 1% to 100%) or is that like a mandatory? Or did you mean zero chance? can't be that though because the chances are pretty fucking good. Chael is the number 2 at MW make no doubt and Chris is gonna spank AS ass in December. After Chael molests Wandy (if that happens) he would fight his own mother for a title and big dollar fight.
 
Weidman vs Chael is way more likely to happen. Anderson doesn't want to fight Jones and with Chael's mouth he can always get higher profile fights than he would otherwise get. I also think Weidman will beat Anderson again and likely worse than the first time making the demand for Jones vs Anderson very low.
 
Chael vs Chris in a couple months for a title shot at Anderson.

Silva isn't that interested in Bones. With Anderson dethroned, Sonnen doesn't have the hurdle of going after someone who has already beaten him twice. If Weidman wins the rematch, Sonnen vs. him is almost a certainty at some point. If he loses, I can see Sonnen moving back up, but if he's still there, his ticket to a third bout with Silva would be knocking off Weidman in a elimination bout, so he might stick around and try to go that route.

Not even close, IMO.
 
Anderson will never accept to fight Jones.
 
I would say Chael/Weidman is much more likely. For some reason, I don't think Anderson/Jones will ever happen.

My point was Jones vs Silva is not happening.

And yes, a nonzero chance means a chance that's not zero. Chael is #10 at MW btw
 
it depends on who chael's next opponent is. I also would suspect that Belfort would get the next shot - however, anything can happen as we all know. I wouldn't be surprised if Weidman faces chael in December.
 
Not a tough call at all. Any regular fight vs any superfight, the superfights are always less likely. Silva doesn't want to fight Jones and now that he's not champion, neither does Dana. And since Jones has the LHW record, hopefully he moves to heavyweight.

Ok, so to answer your question, Weidman vs Chael is an easily booked fight that wouldn't need either fighter to "give in" to book it. Chael would just need to drop to MW and win a couple. Silva would have to go against his own desires to face Jones.

Unless Weidman's defensive wrestling is bad, I think he'd win btw. Maybe Chael could drop back down now and take a fight or two, Weidman loses to Silva, then if Chael has a couple wins, they could fight in an eliminator.
