How about ground game, takedown defense and some pacing lessons too
 
Don't think it was a matter of cardio.

Ngannou isn't efficient with his techniques. You can be in great shape and still wind because of that.

Ngannou is new, these motions aren't totally refined, he's going to have cardio issues until he's a bit more experienced.

Stipe, by comparison, was far more efficient last night.

There is a lot of truth in this. Ngannou can only see the knockout at the moment. He knows he can, so he goes for it. Most of the punches he missed, were all haymakers. He was literally leaving the floor to throw his bodyweight in.
Holding his breath and grunting them out.

If he gets some nice loose movement, he'll be twice as dangerous. Knowing how to connect with natural power.
I'd pick Rothwell over him (or at least, a 2015 Rothwell, wherever he is).
