At what point in life do you stop blaming society and start taking care of your own self? IF you really wanted to you could clean up your own home then reach outward. I grew up in the hood just had common sense and decent single mom parent. Eventually made it out got educated got out of that environment because they wasn't gonna change. Got to let the past go and move forward to better yourself and community!

I talked about this about poor people and instant gratification

When you’re poor you have a scarcity view of everything. You wanna grab hold of everything when you can. So when you can afford it, all food is good, esp food that gives you instant gratification. That’s why businesses like pawn, porn, check cashing, liquors, drugs are the biggest in poor areas. Friday afternoon is payday and you see people lining up. They want to feel good right away because there is no feeling good in sight

Eating right takes discipline and DELAYED GRATIFICATION. That’s why poor people are fat, over stuffed, over medicated, over indulged in everything (that they can afford)

You go to a homeless guys tent and he has broken office equipment that he doesn’t need: chairs with three legs, printers with no cables... The next day it rains and they get destroyed , he abandons them... only to get more at a later day.

So when you see a fat poor person, he’s like a homeless guy carrying around a broken printer on his back: artifacts of hoardings that he doesn’t need. It felt good to him at the time but it’s killing him now.

Poor people are fucked. They need intervention to escape this wicked cycle, but not the kind the libs are selling.

Back to the homeless guy analogy again: “If I throw away this printer, I have nothing left”

Poor people, minorities, blacks think their “culture” is the only thing they have, if they throw it away they have nothing left, they’ll be invisible, indistinct, lose their IDENTITY.

little do they know they can create new culture and own it. Or free to be with the main culture when they need to. They don’t have to be SLAVES to be the same or to be DIFFERENT.

if it save their lives to do things like every one else then be free to do it. Don need to have their own twist on everything. “That’s what everybody else does but THIS is what black people do cause we are different, special, unique”.. including washing hands and staying home.

They have to let go of this cultural obsession to be unique. That’s not freedom freedom is doing whatever the hell you want.

the black kids that constantly getting detention in my HS were the same: they had to have their own twist on everything they do, at the price of everything. They then grow up and call themselves KINGS and QUEENS, believe fairy tales about being a special people from Israel, Egypt or some exotic land, modify common first names and make them their own. Back in the day, lots of them were claiming French descendancy.. just to be unique.
